Bad Habitus (A Poorly Maintained Sociology blog)

I promised my father-in-law I would give politics a rest while visiting the south, but that seems impossible (for many reasons). The first thing we saw upon arrival in Charleston was this newly constructed Boeing factory, the focus of a recent lawsuit brought by the NLRB. Boeing built the new factory in Charleston to avoid paying the benefits and wages of their unionized counterparts in Washington state (where Boeing is headquartered).
